“So tell us your idea.” Fiadh said as she rested on a large stone. 

Hegna, who was laying on top of a fallen swamp tree, looked at her and then the others. “So we know there is a herd of boar with a big one as head leader and we know she can call the herd for help but what if we hunt and kill off each member until there is a small number so the humans can handle the leftover boar and we deal with the big one.” She rested her head. 

Ravenna nodded at this idea. “Are you sure we will find the herd?” She asked. 

“If anything we will.” Flidais said with a smile. “Besides Hegna lives in the swamps here and she knows how to hunt here.” Flidais look at Valeriya and Ravenna. “Are you both up for the hunt?” Flidais asked. 

Valeriya only nodded her head as she did not say anything as she stayed out of the big talk and looked to the swamps giving the air a sniff.  There were some smells that just smelled bad but she did pick up on the boar's scent even if it was a faint smell.  She gave Ravenna a light tug and pointed with her wing tower the swamps. 

“I think we may be closer to the herd than we thought.” Ravenna said.   

The sounds of buzzing bugs over the water zip this and that way as the midday sun shines down on the Gloom swamps.  Frogs took the chance to get at the bugs as large water birds hunted down their very frogs or fish who were trying to get one of the buzzing bugs.  

The herd of boar grazed on the lush greens of the swamps and were not on guard for that felt safe with the female leader of the herd not too far by. That pig out on their food with not a care in the world but other than the buzzing bugs. 

 Fiadh was the first to move in and to see if it was the herd of boar that were looking for.  Staying low to the ground but yet trying not to make a sound she crept closer and parted some of the long grass that hid them all. It was the herd that they were looking for.  She flick her tail in the air for them to come. 

Valeriya and Ravenna came over as quickly and quietly as they moved to one side of the long grass and watched the herd. Valeriya counted a good number of them there and looked for the leader.  Ravenna pointed to some fallen trees where and there the big female boar was sleeping. 

Flidais looks at Fiadh but looks over to see Hegna coming up beside her aunt. They were all in the right spot and now just to get as close as that could and catch them off guard. Flidais stays in the middle and she looks to her left to see Valeriya with Ravenna moving in but slowly and watching every step that took. If the female boar catches on to what they are doing she will keep her busy. 

Valeriya moves in quickly with Ravenna beside her as both jump at a boar and then take flight with their kill in their talons.   Ravenna catches sight of the female boar waking up from hearing herd members sequel in the both her and Valeriya talons but just as the big boar was getting up Fiadh left Hegna's side and ram her body right into the boar knocking it on its side. 

Flidais came in and grab one of the boars before it could attack Fiadh and she took grab it by the neck with her jaws and shakes it lifeless body as a crocodile try to grab it from her and it pull it right out of her jaws but Flidais chuckle as the croc got a free meal out of this. 

Hegna on the other claw was flying after one of the boar’s as it tried to get away from her and that is when she noticed some of the herd members were fleeing now.  That broke the herd's strength by killing some of them.  The one she was after was grabbed by a croc that jumped out of the water for it and she flew away and saw one going for Fiadh but took care of that as she lowered her head and snapped her jaws around its neck. 

Fiadh had kept the female boar busy on her as she saw some boars fleeing into the swamps and others trying to fight back from being killed but only to have crocs come right out of the water to snap them up.  She tried to jump for the big boar neck but every time the boar would block her and she would have to jump back so the tucks did not gore her. 

Valeriya and Ravenna join in with Fiadh and snap at the boar hind legs to make an opening for Fiadh as the both of them grab hold of the boar leg to stop it from even trying to get away. 

Henga came around and tried to go for the boar neck but had to move upwards so she would miss the boar tusk. She watched from the air to see trying to go for the other three but it was out number.  

That is when Flidais came in flying at the neck from overhead and coming down with force taking a bite down and holding the boar down in its last try to get free from the death grip the dragons had on it. She felt it trying to fight back but it was losing the fight and soon enough it went lifeless. 

“Looks like we will earn hunt here and help the folks here.” Ravenna smiled. 

The others nodded and took the kill back to the town to show the boar was good as gone and only a few herd members were left to take out.
