Storm battle

As the skies grew dark with the clouds as gray as stone and flashes of lighting not far from the arena, it almost seemed like a shadow was cast over it, only for the lighting to light it up before going dark again. The storm spooked wildlife away from the arena and forest around, giving it an ominous feel. The rain now came pouring down but it seemed it did not stop either ravager from their battle.

Fenrir was not bothered by the gloomy dark weather as she waited for the next round to begin. The wind whipped some rain into her holding spot and she heard Alice hiss as rain drops landed on the celestial feline.

The feline shook her coat to rid some of the rain water and started to groom yet again. She had the looks of a cat that had been trapped out in the storm. She kept far from the gate so she would not get any more raindrops on her.

When the time came, both Fenrir and Delaney’s gates flew open and both ravagers came out in a fury, flying in the air on the crowded level with the crowd letting out gasps at seeing them go claw to claw and teeth to teeth at each other.

Delaney would toss her blade horn at Fenrir, but she would avoid it just in time as she saw Fenrir’s teeth flash before her eyes, before grabbing her ear and pulling her head down to push her towards the ground. Delaney took the one chance and grabbed Fenrir's leg as she had let go of her ear.

Fenrir roared, feeling the teeth break her hide and draw blood, and then she snaps her jaws around the smaller set of wings Delaney had and pulled on the wings. She could feel the teeth in her one leg as she tried to pull Delaney off.

Both flapped in the air to stay afloat, but were biting and snapping at each other. Only giving each other small cuts or bite marks but it seemed neither were going to go down without a fight.

Delaney did let go when she felt Fenrir sinking teeth into her tail before being thrown across the arena and landing on the muddy ground. The rain had made it a muddy mess and now she had some mud on her, but that was not a thing to be bothered about. It was Fenrir who came down from the air and pinned her down on the ground.

Fenrir had won this round, but this ravager did not know when to just give up. Then Fenrir saw her using her lighting breath and took to the air to avoid being hit as she flew around the arena. She used her luster breath to blind Delaney.

Delaney closed her eyes and used her wing to block the bright light, and when she felt it was over she took to the air and then used her lighting breath. But when she did, a plume of shadow blocked her as she flew right into Fenrir and locked claws with her.

Both fell to the muddy arena floor with claws unlocked, and went at it with claws to claws or with teeth at teeth. Snapping at each neck only to miss or snapping at one another’s wings. Miss or hit, both kept trying to get the other.

Fenrir moved her head in time as Delaney’s blade horn got her on her shoulder, but she grabbed hold of Delaney's neck and pinned her back down on the ground, making sure she could not use her breath at her.

Delaney growled as she used her claws at Fenrir, but it was no point. The more she tried to claw at Fenrir, the more energy she used to get free.  Her claws only brushed past Fenrir’s upper leg or just missed, so she used her tail to whip mud at Fenrir’s face.

Fenrir got a face full of mud that covered her eye as she stepped away from Delaney. But as she went backwards, she suddenly moved forward at Delaney, who had no time to react as Fenrir pushed her down on the muddy ground by the stone wall of the arena.

Delaney took her chance and headbutted Fenrir in the chest, pushing her back.

Fenrir shakes the last bit of mud off her eye and feels the headbutt to the chest. This was a bad move on Delaney's part, as Fenrir used her weight and size to force Delaney back down into the mud.

At the sound of a bell ringing, both knew it was the end of the match, and they broke away for both to rest.

Delaney looked at Fenrir as she walked to her side of the arena, and wondered if she was Death’s dragon.
