A thick layer of snow blanket the Radiance kingdom and any grass there was now gone and most wildlife had traveled to greener lands or slept when the cold weather came.  Snow on the trees made some lean over and yet some trees could not take the weight and fall over. 

The seaside that had a cave on the cliff side that Delaney called home along with her sister. The sea had a thin sheet of ice with few holes but Delaney did not dare to get fish and she had to travel far to get a good hunt. Coming home something was not right as a new scent hit her.  

Valerian made himself at home in the warm cave and found no one here for some time even with two scents. Whoever they are, they just lost their home and it was his now. His head shot up when he first heard a growl and then saw pink wings. “Bugger off this is my cave.” he said. 

“No this is my and my sister and you should be the one to bugger off.” she roared as she flew right into the cave and right at him with her claws at his face before taking a bite at his neck to pin him down. She closed her eyes when she saw he had a luster breath and he was trying to blind her. 

His breath was doing nothing and he saw her eyes close so he clawed at her face to get her off of him but it was not working as she had a good grip on his neck and took each clawing to her side or close to her face like it was nothing. “You're not going to win this fight.” 

Delaney did not listen to this male ravager as she bites harder to get her point. She puts her claws feet on his neck to keep him pin. “You will lose and leave this cave for good.” taking her feet off of him she used her wind breath at him. 

When she stepped off of him he was going to get up but the blast of her wind breath threw him off his feet and onto the ground close to the mouth of the cave.   He uses his luster breath and hopes to blind and shun her for a big attack but again she closes her damn eyes and he had no idea he left himself open and saw her running blind at him.  

She charged at him with her eyes closed and pushed him out of the cave and opened her eyes and took flight into the air and used her lighting breath at him as he fell. She dives after him claws out to hurt him good so he would go away.

He saw her coming and opened his wings and flapped them to get over her but she followed him good but not that good as he ram into her side only to feel what felt like a whip burn and saw that she used her tail to hit him. He saw a flash of teeth as she bit down on his muzzle. Pain flares as her teeth break his scale hide.  Maybe this was not a good idea and that she looked tougher than he thought. 

Delaney did not let go as she dived back down to the cold sea under them. She could feel his claws on her belly as he tried to break free but when she let him go and used her wind breath to blow him into the cold sea breaking the sheet of ice. “Next time make sure that whoever lives in a cave is still alive and out hunting.” 

He falls into the cold sea water as he struggles to get out but when he does he snarls at her and flys off.
