The sky bound cities and isles were a beautiful sight to behold for anyone, so unique and different from what one would be used to in any other region. Over time, as their discovery grew more and more well known, and the word of the wonders traveled further down into the wilds, more wild dragons took interest in exploring this region, and perhaps staking a claim to one of these islands themselves. Oftentimes, these dragons would form temporary dignities to travel, as long distances are much better when one has a set of eyes and ears or two to look out for them.

"You sure this is the right direction?"

A white ravager belonging to one such group almost scoffed, flying as high up as possible from the sea to avoid dampening her feathers. Low below her, an abyssal basileus replied, his fire-like wings standing out even in low visibility.

"Yes! Can't you smell the trees in the distance?"

Out of the shadowy clouds, a pale silver face made itself known, the large purple warden following suit. She sped up at the mention, almost pushing the abyssal forward to make him speed up. "See? Spinel sensed it too!" He chirps, not as an agitated comment but as a simple acknowledgement. The white ravager eyed them down below and then sped up, almost as if a little impatient to get to their destination. "H- hey, wait!" Antares mumbled quickly before trying to speed up himself, only to be overtaken by the warden who flew straight above him with a powerful flap of her wings.

The clouds parted to reveal a sunny plane in the sky, teeming with islands, life and energy. But something felt... wrong. Lynx, on instinct, abruptly stopped mid air, and just as she did a feathered... creature shot right past her from above. It looked vaguely like a warden, though much smaller and clearly not a dragon, whit many glowing tidbits and patches that shouldn't be there. Corruption, she recognized immediately as the two locked eyes, intent on a duel. From below, the two arguably larger dragons looked on with surprise and fear for a moment, as neither of them really expected this to be their greeting to a new world, and the air for a moment stood still... Waiting for anyone to make a move and start the fight.

"Lynx!"

Antares called out and at once the other two began combat. Spinel darted right past him, almost knocking him over, heading for one of the islands, and not giving him any time at all to think yet forcing him to do so. "K- Keep it busy, we'll get a cleanser.. o- or something!" He quickly added as the ravager and the corrupted corvus began to make a racket and make it rain feathers, darting right after the dragon afterwards but only barely being able to keep up with the more experienced, and much bigger, gatherer.

The moment Spinel landed she went straight to business, almost digging the tip of her snout down onto the ground to pick up even a slightest scent of what she needed. Even though her demeanor was usually regarded as dopey but kind, she barely seemed to resemble that description now. The basileus behind her almost trembled in both nervousness and lack of general idea on what to do but having a sense of urgency. "W- what do you need? I- I'll help you, w- we just have to hurry I..." Before he can panic anymore he was whacked over the head with her tail, before the drakaina pointed at her chest, almost tracing the outline of her ribs with her claw. After a moment of confusion, he made an 'o- oh!' sound and ran of, repeating 'right, right' in a nervous manner as he disappeared in the trees.

Meanwhile, up above, the two were still dancing. Lynx has had her fair share of fights before, this was nothing new to her, but she had never seen such an odd creature before, let alone fought against it. The gryphus' softer markings and a heavy coat of feathers made it hard for her to claw and bite at it, the long ibex horn additionally protecting the neck. With a beak like that and suck long talons it had little issue hurting her, however, and an extra pair of wings made it additionally easy for it to avoid her. Still, she danced around it, using her long tail to her full advantage, intent on keeping it away for as long as she can to give the other two enough time to make a remedy.

"Hurry up with that cure, will you?!"

The sound of her voice made Antares, who was at the edge of the island looking for ribcage bones, look up, just in time to see a much bigger, and equally corrupted, gryph gunning for the ravager in her blind spot while she was distracted with the first. Without much thinking he took to flight, pushing his wings to their absolute limit and headbutting the enormous cinereous gryph out of the way right in time, causing it to spiral down some distance. This made the other two stop briefly. "Told you to use your head more." the ravager joked before snapping her maw at the smaller gryph who tried to take the opportunity to harm her. "Wanna switch and distract the small fry while I deal with the big boy?" He nodded and, having their backs almost touch and their wingbeats in sync, they swapped places.

After a few moments, Spinel emerged from the undergrowth on the island and let out an alert roar, two vials in her front claw. The ravager, who had been using her claws to tear at the exposed neck of the brown gryph while handling it's head via it's horns, nodded and fully grabbed onto the struggling gryph and dragged it down for cleansing, offering the basileus her tail to grab onto and drag the other one as well. The warden wasted no time in showering them with the concoction, causing both of them to calm down and return to their original states, still groggy and clearly exhausted.

"Raygor, I think we're in trouble." The corvus gryph almost cheerily remarked staring at the three dragons.

"My neck and head are killing me." The cinereous one replied, not really paying anything any attention.

"Oh that's cause you're bleeding, badly actually, should get that checked out."

"What."
