A streak across the sky, Mira prefers to survey the world, avoiding conflict where she goes. Avoidance is one of her specialties, making her quite adept at transporting and delivering things. Though she prefers to avoid conflict, she still enjoys interacting with others; it just takes a little more to gain her trust. She trusts her rider very much, and will often look to him for guidance and reassurance. He earned her undying trust the day he found her and nursed her back to health. He had found her after a territorial battle between her flight and another. She was wounded, unable to fly and abandoned. When her flight had lost their lands, they had left everything behind. Home, family and friends. No one went back for anything. She was young and injured through no fault of her own. Why would they just abandon her? She had tried to hide when her rider had found her, but her injuries were getting the better of her, allowing him to catch her. She grew to appreciate his loving hand and staid when he gave her the option to leave. He called her his 'Shooting Star'...a shining reminder to leave the world in a better place than it was found.
