SB-0042: Kaldur

Owned by Desert-Wyvern@dA

Kaldûr is more adaptive in his ways and will often change his approach to things if the circumstances call for it, acting more on instinct than Sûldúring ever does. Together, their two styles may seem to conflict to those on the outside, but those who have seen them in action know better. They trust each other immensely, and Sûldúring will trust Kaldûr’s instincts when her strict sense of procedure hits a wall because Kaldûr has a way of seeing things from other viewpoints that she hadn’t even thought of. In return, Kaldûr will trust Sûldúring when she first lays out her carefully constructed plan, often putting them in a much better position to carry out their contracts. However, some plans do go wrong, and when they do, Kaldûr steps in to help make sure they adapt well.

Kaldûr is more prone to frontal attacks, often times giving Sûldúring the moment she needs to complete the contract. Some would say Kaldûr is nothing but a decoy, and the whole mode of attack was a coward's way of doing things. However, he sees all actions as having a purpose, and a 'decoy' is a lowly term for creating windows of opportunity.

Kaldûr came to join Sûldúring and her 'rider' when a wrench was thrown into completing his last contract. Sûldúring was that wrench. Kaldûr had been approached by a gentleman and accepted the contract readily. He figured it would be an easy target and easy money. All was going according to plan until the Ravager made an appearance. She wasn't part of the Target's guard and what was worse...she appeared to be going after the same target, so he confronted her. After some apprehension and surprise (it really should be expected that it would take an Assassin to spot an Assassin), the two wyverns figured out that were each other's 'Plan B' should one fail. That meant their Employer did not trust in either of their skills. That was a lack of trust. If one can't trust their own Assassin, they really shouldn't be trusting anybody.

The two took out their target together, weaving their plans together into a neat and flawless success. Then Kaldûr went to retrieve payment. As he collected the money, their Employer got to experience their new partnership first hand...though they weren't able to hire them again after that.
