Clumsy due to lack of guidance via tail, Matty often has graceless landings and flies into things frequently. Never enough to truly do damage, but enough to leave him with small scars and bruises constantly. He's a shy and timid boy, preferring to stick to those who are kind and patient with him than seek out adventure and glory. He likes a quiet life in a comfortable home, and rarely ventures outside of Radiance.
