Skalen is a changed dragon, once very proud and violent, he was feared by many. He did his best to give those he came across what they wanted, an aggressive dragon beyond all means. He was fearsome in the arena, his wild side never fully tamed at all. All that changed when he lost a fight and was dumped and left to die alone. He failed in living up to a reputation he was given and did not deserve. Losing all hope and giving up on life, he didn't expect for anyone to approach him and show him kindness. He didn't know what to make of the multi-eyed ravager who found him and cried soft petals of pink over him, healing him with their inner magic and leaving petal marks on his skin. Never before had someone treated him for who he could be. He now travels with Gildas, exploring who he really is. He does have an aggressive side still, but Gildas is helping him reign it in.
