A gentle giant, Chubbs is often seen in the company of his young handler Niamh or enjoying updrafts along the coast.  Initially a semi-feral dragon, he's still unused to the more crowded cities and prefers to steer clear of them.  Niamh, only eleven at the time, found him near his cliffside cavern home and lured him out with salted fish -- he likes humans well enough, but Niamh?  She's easily his favorite.  Niamh tells him her parents make those rude faces at him because he's "a wild beast" and "not from a registered hatchery", but he doesn't care.  Niamh is the best handler he could ask for.
