Traits: Pathetic, Sly, Fearful, Patient, Nefarious

After hatching from his egg, Merlyn was made to fend for himself; his mother abandoned him and his siblings bullied and harassed him. With nowhere else to go, Merlyn remained. Sleeping in the cold and eating what little scraps were left from the meals his mother brought back. With very little strength and intolerance to sunlight, Merlyn eventually left the nest with the rest of his siblings - though while they had the strength to fly he could only muster a crawl.

Years later and Merlyn defied all odds and survived. Though he has grown fearful of other dragons and avoids them to the best of his ability. Even human civilisation is a no-go for him as he doesn't like the bald two-legged creatures. He is still considerably weak, unable to hunt large prey that would help put meat on his protruding bones... But he did learn to fish. Nighttime fishing is his preferred activity; no sun to burn his pale skin and the other dragons are taking on bigger prey far away from where Merlyn fishes.

But Merlyn isn't a nice dragon. Pathetic, maybe... But cruelty is all that he knows; he grew up with cruelty and like a poison, it has taken hold of him.
